Producing beats with Beat Kangz’ Beat Thang – Part 1

“In the previous segment, we said we were going to challenge Beat Thang’s “15-minute music production guarantee.” It’s a challenge you can’t lose. The Boombox on AOL: Dallas Austin Sheds Light on Beat Thang, New Artist + More

Dallas Austin at The BET Awards
Dallas sat down with The Boombox to tell them about the Beat Thang.

Dallas Austin is sagacious. The esteemed songwriter-producer knows what works and what doesn’t when it comes to his music business. Hits like the aforementioned aren’t made without dripping a little bit of blood, sweat and tears in the studio.

“After nearly five years in development, the Beat Thang levels the playing field – simplifying music production down to its core…” TJ Devoe – iStandard Producers

Sounds like they made some nice tracks with the Thang for the video as well. According to the credits, all music used in the video was made on the Beat Thang.

By the time you get home the mood is lost and what could have been a Billboard #1 hit has been relegated to just a distant memory. If that sounds like a familiar scenario, then have you ever considered bring with you a portable music machine? If you have, then perhaps Dallas Austin’s Beat Thang rhythm generator (among many others) is something worth considering.
