Rowdy BKE: Dallas & Aja Discuss Their Shared Vision for The Beat Thang (Video)

There is a moment that comes in the life of every serious musician. You listen to the sound of one of your favorite artists and say, “How can I sound like THAT?” If you’re a sax player, you wonder how Coltrane did it. If you play drums, you ask how Carter Beauford gets that tone or plays that rhythm. If you’re an electronic musician, you search for the devices that give you the best sounds or allow you to create your own unique space music.

Super producer Dallas Austin and Beat Kangz Electronics president Aja Emmanuel share their memories about those moments. They explain how that similar vision is the motivation behind the Beat Thang, and the joint venture that brings the world’s first mobile music production system to market today.

The Beat Thang gives you the sounds that the pros use, AND provides you with the tools to create your own extraterrestrial emo or terra firma tango. Its so simple that kids can become great, but powerful enough that the most experienced artists can soar to new heights. Pretty soon, heads will listen to you, and say, “How can I sound like THAT?!”
